Hijacked by Coronavirus

Coronavirus has hijacked our lives temporarily.

It cancelled our schools, our activities, our churches.  It’s threatening our jobs and our businesses.

We’re being held hostage in our homes…with our kids who are also feeling like their lives were hijacked.  It’s changed our day-to-day activities.

Negative Thing?

Most of us are inclined to think this is a negative thing.  We feel like we’re missing out.

But what if we aren’t?

What if this experience is EXACTLY WHAT WE WANT now…and in the long run.

What If It’s Perfect?

I love thinking about the question: How is this Coronavirus experience perfect for you?

What are some of the benefits of this time? Isn’t time something we all wish we had more of?  What if this is an opportunity to rest?  To catch up? To slow down? Is it possible this is a chance to appreciate the luxury of freedom of movement we usually have?  Or to recognize how interconnected our world is?  What if this is an opportunity to re-connect with the people we care most about? Or a chance to re-evaluate what we want to use our time for? Could it help us use our money more carefully?  Or give us new ways to serve each other?  Maybe it can bring us together as a world in a new way? Is it possible it will bring out our creativity? Perhaps it will give us a chance to be more resilient.

You Decide If It’s Perfect

Maybe instead of our lives being hijacked, we’re being given exactly what we need.    Maybe it’s not negative.  Maybe it’s perfect.  It’s perfect if you decide it is.

What are you choosing to believe about this time?
