I Know What It’s Like to Feel Stuck

I’m Jennie, and I know what it’s like to not be coping as well as you’d like to.

I thought I would love living abroad!   But when we first moved overseas, I spent a lot of time feeling frustrated, overwhelmed, resentful, anxious, and discouraged as an expat mom for many of the reasons above.

I then felt guilty because I knew I had an amazing life, and I SHOULD feel happy!  Most of all I knew I wasn’t being the mom I wanted to be.  

I tried lots of things and ultimately discovered some tools that helped me feel better.

I went from feeling frustrated most of the time and happy occasionally, to happy most of the time and frustrated occasionally. 

I know what it’s like to be an expat mom.

I’ve lived abroad for most of the last 10 years: I’ve lived on four different continents and in six different countries.  I’m married to a U.S. diplomat, and I’m the mom of four lovely daughters (12,9,7,3).  

However, after my experience struggling abroad, I decided to become a Certified Life Coach in order help other brave expat moms feel better. I help moms around the world learn concrete tools to feel happier and more fulfilled.
